This is quite similar to what you see on websites of car brands for example and before we need to develop the software ourselves to support this tool we were wondering if your company has solutions, because it is and will be an important tool for presentations.

As I understand from your description there is no such feature that allows for configuration-type processes within Lumion.
I have no information about something that might match what you are wanting to do, and the developers do not provide information on any changes in features other than when a version is released and announced on the website, social media, and Lumion Community.
My understanding is that you would want something that might be up to 'highly interactive' for the user, presents in 3D, and via a website.
Lumion is not able to be run via a webpage. Its levels of interactivity are direct between a user such as yourself and the interface for importing models and materials etc, which also relies on certain clear workflows to get to the endpoint of renders.
A website would also need to offer quite low data requirements whereas your design models and the other 3d content are very high in data.
Final renders in Lumion of course rely on the use of Effects and high-performance graphics cards to get that render. A website would need to provide for some other means of rendering than on the local users' PC.
I am aware of a range of configuration-type approaches done over recent years, but do not have any I could point in your direction. Generally, they do require extensive programming and user interface development. Some provide the user with a material library to select from for different looks and can be changed per model element or surface. A kitchen design is an example.
Some suggestions I can offer in using Lumion would be:
1. Render a range of choices then have the user select from those images online, as some sort of catalog they can click on, to open up higher resolution images and with multiple views. Alternatively, via some HTML you could use rendered models with clickable regions, etc to make selections from.
2. As in 1 but the interactivity they get to experience uses 360 Panoramas by rendering to MyLumion 360 Panorama format. These can be embedded in a website, although the MyLumion server still provides the Panorama data. There is a defined limit of 10 Projects per License Key per seat though.
3. As in 1 but create VR experiences by rendering to VR Panorama (still image). Then upload to VR websites or your own and create virtual tours etc. This approach of course relies on the user having and wanting to use a VR headset.
All of the above offer a low-cost, easy-to-maintain approach, and with the highest quality of your design vai the rendering capability of Lumion. But you do need to define the range of choices they can make and pre-render those.
4. Lumion Pro users have the option to provide their clients with a link to the Lumion Viewer. They then install that (about the same file size as Lumion Pro). And open the Project you have made and view it in real-time high-quality 3D. Various Photo views and animations can be provided. The end-user simply has no access to the interface as an editor that you have. It's quite interactive and fun to use. However, they do need to install the Lumion Viewer and have a PC that at least matches the performance of the one used for creating the Project.
